The 2024 edition of the DFM will spotlight key elements within the film industry that include social responsibility and accountability in filmmaking, IP protection, artist/filmmaker rights, labour issues, and much more.

The DFM 2024 programme includes diverse voices across a variety of backgrounds and identities. To be truly Pan-African we must speak not only to those on the Continent but also to those from the diaspora and the global south.
